On Saturday 5th September, Newry and District Motor Club announced, with regret, that it will not be running the Circuit of Down Navigation Rally on 18th September 2015.  They didn’t make the decision without a lot of discussion, but “in light of the poor support from competitors over the last number of years” the Club has felt forced into this decision.

As we in DMC know, it is a lot of work to put on these events.  It is also asking a lot of Club members to spend the time doing PR work with the risk the event might not happen, so this invariably falls on a few loyal supporters who end up doing most of it themselves.
