With over one hundred and fifty entries, this year’s Donegal Motor Club, Harvest Stages Rally returned to its last year’s venue, The Fleets Inn, Downings.

In the two-day Bowmaker Circuit of Munster, organised by the Limerick Motor Club, Charlie Gunn overcame the jinx which has made him a non-finisher in four out of the last five years, by winning with a healthy margin from Ronnie McCartney.
